theHEAP (Highfield Eco Allotment Project), based in Levenshulme, Manchester, aims to create a sustainable community allotment where people of different ages and backgrounds can come together to share skills and experience of food growing.

We are a vegan permaculture food-growing project, a community project, and we have a forest garden space.

We promote biodiversity, vegan organic growing, permaculture, and run workshops on different aspects of food-growing and sustainability. And of course gardening helps a healthy lifestyle.

We also want to grow tasty local organic food!
